Security Modules

IronPort Reputation Filters perform a real-time email traffic threat assessment and then identify suspicious email senders. Suspicious senders are rate limited or blocked, preventing malicious traffic from even entering your network. IronPort Virus Outbreak Filters detect new virus outbreaks in real-time, then temporarily quarantine suspicious messages, offering protection up to 42 hours before reactive virus filter signatures are released. IronPort email security appliances protect internal servers from attacks, and enable organizations to comply with HIPAA, GLB, SOX, and other regulatory compliance laws by applying filtering, encryption, and archiving policies on incoming and/or outgoing messages. The IronPort C-Series fully integrates the industry leading, signature-based, anti-spam technology from Symantec Brightmail. Highly effective spam capturing capabilities are accompanied by the industry's best accuracy rate of one false positive in every million messages. The IronPort C-Series fully integrates the highest performance virus scanning technology in the industry with Sophos anti-virus.
